Graduation

A QR photo album for your graduation — the whole class’s photos in one place

Graduation is the one night when the whole class, their families and their teachers are in the same room — and everyone is taking photos. Snapia collects them all through a QR code: guests upload photos and videos from the browser, with no app and no account, and the album belongs to whoever set it up. It suits graduation parties, proms and department celebrations alike.

  • Guests scan and upload in the browser — no app, no account
  • Uploads resume on their own when reception is weak
  • A live wall for the venue’s screen, projector or TV
  • Print-ready table cards: vector PDF, PNG and SVG

Moments worth capturing at a graduation

Share these as ideas — or turn a few into photo challenges for your guests.

  1. 01The cap toss and the seconds just after it.
  2. 02Graduates in their gowns with the families who got them there.
  3. 03Teachers and advisers with their students.
  4. 04Friends who have been inseparable since the first week.
  5. 05Diplomas, flowers and proud-parent hugs.
  6. 06The class photo — from every angle, not just the official one.
  7. 07The opening dance at the prom and the packed dance floor.
  8. 08Messages to each other before everyone moves to different cities.

Your plan, step by step

From setting up the album to downloading every original.

  1. Five weeks before

Create the album for the class or the party, add the date and choose Live sharing. Decide now who will watch the approval queue on the night.

  2. Four weeks before

Design table cards and a large entrance sign in the print studio; export a vector PDF with bleed and crop marks for the printer, or an SVG for a designer who wants to place the QR code on a banner.

  3. Two weeks before

Share the album link in the class group chat and add photo challenges such as “a photo with your favourite teacher” or “the whole study group”.

  4. The day before

Test the QR code from a few spots around the venue, and check the screen or projector you’ll use for the live wall.

  5. On the night

Open the live wall on the venue screen: the on-screen QR invites new uploads, and on Premium the table leaderboard gets tables competing. Announce it once, right after the opening speech.

  6. The week after

Download everything in original quality as a ZIP and send the class a share link — with a PIN if you want to keep it among graduates and families.

Where to put the QR cards

  • Print the QR code on the back of the programme or the seating card, so every guest has it in hand.
  • Put a large sign at the photo backdrop — that’s where the queue forms.
  • Place one card per table; if tables are numbered, the leaderboard on the live wall gives them a reason to compete.
  • Show the QR code on screen during the speeches and the slideshow.
  • For outdoor ceremonies, use a few large, weighted signs instead of small table cards.

Our privacy recommendation

Live sharing

A graduation is a shared celebration, and watching the class’s photos arrive in real time is half the fun. With moderation switched on, only the photos you approve reach the gallery and the screen.

Questions about graduation albums

Can the whole class use one album?

Yes. Everyone scans the same QR code, so graduates, families and teachers all upload into one album. No app or account is needed.

Can we stop inappropriate photos from appearing on the screen?

Yes. With moderation on, photos wait for approval before they appear on the live wall or in the shared gallery.

Our venue has weak reception — will uploads fail?

Uploads that can’t go through wait on the phone and resume when the signal returns. On iPhone, guests should keep the page open until they finish.

How do graduates get the photos afterwards?

You can send a share link, optionally protected with a PIN, and download the complete album in original quality as a ZIP.

Set it up tonight. Your guests will do the rest.
