A QR photo album for your engagement in Ankara.
An engagement often brings two families together for the first time, and everyone has their phone out when the rings go on. Snapia gives your guests one QR code to scan, so their photos, videos and good wishes collect in a single album instead of scattering across chat groups. Guests don’t need an app or an account, and the album stays yours.
- Guests scan and upload in the browser — no app, no account
- Uploads resume on their own when reception is weak
- A live wall for the venue’s screen, projector or TV
- Print-ready table cards: vector PDF, PNG and SVG

Celebrating in Ankara
In Ankara, celebrations are often held in hotel ballrooms, wedding halls, garden venues on the edge of the city and restaurant function rooms.
- Good to know
- For hall celebrations with long guest lists, a card on every table plus an announcement from the MC works far better than a single sign. In halls with weak reception, uploads wait on guests’ phones and resume when the signal returns.
- Light & weather
- Garden celebrations suit the warmer months, while cold-season events move indoors, so plan card placement and the live wall around the room you’ll actually use.
Moments worth capturing at a engagement
Share these as ideas — or turn a few into photo challenges for your guests.
- 01The two families meeting and greeting at the door.
- 02The ring tray being carried in.
- 03The rings going on and, if it’s part of your tradition, the ribbon being cut.
- 04Parents and grandparents with the newly engaged couple.
- 05Friends’ speeches and the story of how you met.
- 06Your first dance as an engaged couple.
- 07Close-ups of the rings, the flowers and the table details.
- 08Siblings and cousins posing together for the first time as one family.
Your plan, step by step
From setting up the album to downloading every original.
Four weeks before
Create the album with both your names and the date, and choose Live sharing so both families can watch the album grow during the evening.
Three weeks before
Pick a theme in the print studio, design a small card for each table and a larger sign for the entrance, and export print-ready PDF or PNG files for your printer.
One week before
Share the album link in the family group chats so relatives who can’t attend know where the photos will be, and add a couple of photo challenges such as “a photo with someone from the other family”.
On arrival at the venue
Place the cards, scan one from a guest’s seat and upload a test photo. If the engagement is at home, check the signal in the room where the ring ceremony will happen.
During the party
Have someone announce the QR code right after the rings go on — that’s when every phone is already out. If your plan includes the live wall, put it on a TV so guests see their photos appear.
The day after
Download the full album in original quality as a ZIP and share a link with anyone who missed the evening; add a PIN if you want to keep it within the family.
Where to put the QR cards
- Put a card next to the ring tray — it’s the spot every guest walks up to.
- Place one card per table in a small stand, facing the chairs rather than the centrepiece.
- Add a larger sign at the entrance with a one-line explanation: scan, snap, upload — no app.
- If the engagement is at home, put a card by the tea and dessert table and another in the hallway.
- Match the card theme to your invitations so it looks like part of the décor, not an afterthought.
Our privacy recommendation
Live sharing
Engagement parties are usually smaller and warmer, so letting everyone see approved photos as they arrive turns the album into part of the evening. If you prefer, you can approve photos before they appear.
Compare all five privacy modesQuestions about engagement albums
Can both families add photos to the same album?
Yes. Everyone scans the same QR code, so photos from both sides land in one album. The album belongs to whoever created it, and they decide who else can see it.
Our engagement is at home — will it still work?
Yes. Guests only need a phone browser and a connection. If the signal is weak in some rooms, uploads queue on the phone and resume automatically when reception returns; on iPhone, guests should keep the page open until it finishes.
Can older relatives use it without help?
There’s nothing to install and no account to create: they point their phone camera at the QR code and the upload page opens. Guest pages are available in English and Turkish.
Can we hide photos we don’t want on the screen?
Yes. Turn on moderation and only the photos you approve appear on the live wall and in the guests’ gallery.
Does Snapia work at venues in Ankara?
Yes. Snapia runs in the phone’s browser over mobile data or Wi-Fi, so it works in any venue in Ankara — ballrooms, gardens, terraces or at home. Where reception is weak, uploads wait on the phone and resume automatically.
