FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

Everything couples, families and venues ask us before their first album. Can’t find yours? Write to us — a real person answers.

Privacy & your data

Who can see the photos in our album?

Only you, by default. New albums start in Private mode, where guests can upload but can’t see anything. You can switch to My shots, Live sharing, a morning-after reveal or Disposable camera mode at any time, and co-hosts you invite can help manage the album.

Who owns the photos and videos?

You and your guests do. Guests share their uploads with you as the host; Snapia only stores and processes them to run the service. We never sell your content or use it for advertising.

Can the venue see our album?

Not unless you allow it. When a venue runs your event on Snapia, its staff see statistics such as upload counts, but not your photos, videos or messages. Access to content is a switch only the host controls.

How do you handle GDPR and KVKK?

Privacy is built in: albums are private by default, files are stored in the EU, location data is removed from photos, consents are collected separately, and access or deletion requests have a clear process. Our privacy policy and KVKK notice explain what we process and why.

Do you use face recognition?

No. Snapia does not offer face search and does not create biometric profiles of your guests. If we ever add a feature like this, it will be off by default and only work with separate, explicit consent.

Can guests delete what they uploaded?

Yes. Guests can remove their own uploads from the same phone at any time, and you can hide or delete anything in your album. Anyone can also ask us to delete their personal data through the data request form.

On the night

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Guests scan the QR code with their phone camera and the album opens in the browser. There’s no app to install and no account to create — even their name is optional.

What if the venue has bad reception?

Snapia is built for it. Files are queued on the phone and uploaded in parts, so a dropped connection pauses an upload instead of losing it, and it resumes on its own when the signal returns. On iPhone, guests should keep the page open until their uploads finish.

Which languages does Snapia speak?

The guest page, the live wall and your dashboard are available in English and Turkish. The guest page follows each guest’s phone language, so mixed families feel at home.

Is there a limit on the number of guests?

No. Plans are limited by photos, videos and storage — not by the number of guests. Invite everyone.

Can we keep inappropriate photos off the wall?

Yes. You can approve each photo before it appears on the wall, or turn on AI moderation to screen uploads automatically. Anything you hide stays out of the gallery and off the wall.

Your album

How long are the photos kept?

It depends on your plan: 14 days on the free trial, 6 months on Celebration, 12 months on Wedding Standard and 24 months on Wedding Premium. You can extend the archive by 1, 3 or 5 years, and we e-mail you 30, 7 and 1 day before anything is deleted.

Are there limits on videos?

Yes, per plan: from 30-second clips on the free trial up to 5-minute videos of up to 1 GB each on Wedding Premium. Photos and videos are always stored in their original quality.

Can we download everything in full quality?

Yes. On paid plans you can download the whole album as a ZIP of original files, and share read-only links — with an optional PIN — with family who couldn’t be there.

What do we need for the live wall?

Any screen with a web browser: an LED wall, a projector or a smart TV. Open your wall link, go full screen, and new photos appear within seconds. You can try it on the free trial; it’s included in Wedding Standard and above.

Do you print the table cards for us?

No — Snapia never prints or ships anything. The print studio gives you print-ready files (vector PDF with bleed and crop marks, PNG and SVG) that you can take to any print shop or print at home.

Plans & payments

How can I pay?

By credit or debit card through Stripe (in Turkish lira, US dollars or euros), or by bank transfer. Prices in Turkish lira include VAT. Couples pay once per event; venues pay monthly or yearly.

Can we upgrade during the event?

Yes. If you’re about to hit a limit, upgrade from your dashboard in a minute — even mid-party. Nothing is lost, guests don’t notice a thing, and the new limits apply immediately.

How do venue credits work?

Venue plans include a yearly number of event credits. Each event you create uses one, unused credits roll over, and you can top up with extra credit packs. Monthly plans receive their share of credits each month.
